Zone 1 Hazardous Area Operations
The Tab-Ex 05 is one of the few rugged devices that is Zone 1 hazardous area approved.
An ATEX Zone 1 area is defined as a location that contains a combination of air and/or flammable substances such as gas, vapours or mists that can lead to unexpected explosions or fires during work operations. This is the regarded as the most dangerous and hazardous work environment to operate machinery and devices.
The ultra-rugged tablet has also has ATEX and IECEX certification for use in explosive work environments.
