Mobility
Not all rugged tablets are as easy to pick up and carry around a site. An optional retractable hard handle makes the unit easy to grip and move with you. For enhanced versatility and improved productivity, a detachable keyboard is available for times when you need to type or enter data with speed.
Security
With mobility comes added security risks. If the unit is lost or stolen, you need to ensure its data is fully protected. With the UX10, you can use an integrated fingerprint reader, magnetic stripe reader, smart card reader, an RFID reader, and can also offer a Windows Hello face-authentication camera.

Temperature Resistance & Dust and Water Sealing
Getac tested the UX10 to withstand the harshest of environments. The tablet can withstand variations in temperatures of -29? to +63?.
The unit is certified to MIL-STD 810G and includes IP65 sealing so it’s dustproof, and can survive low pressure water jets from all directions. The UX10 is vibration and drop resistant to a height of six feet.
Screen 
The 10-inch tablet comes has a LumiBond® screen, so there are no restrictions on how you like to use the tablet. Workers can swap between finger and glove touch and use a pen or digitizer. The unit can withstand rain and water spills on the screen.
Light Conditions
The UX10 is suitable for use in all light conditions. The impressive 1000 nits of brightness means any worker can read the screen in the brightest midday sun. The screen’s 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution makes for a sharp 224 pixels per inch.
Multiple Connectivity
Whether you are working indoors or out in the field, you want a unit that connects quickly and reliably. Digital connectivity is available through BT, WiFi, and optional 4G LTE. An optional RS232 port can even support legacy equipment and an RFID reader is also available to feed-back information into the management system.

The UX10 uses an all quad-core 10th generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processor and has 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage, and both can be upgraded.

Its 24/7/365 continuity is possible because of its battery configurations and options including a high capacity battery and bridge battery for ‘hot swap’ capability.
