These are truly go-anywhere devices. Zebra’s L10 Android Rugged Tablet has three models to choose from making them suitable for field workers in a range of industries including mining, construction, military, telecommunications, construction and warehousing. Depending on your industry, workers may prefer the slate tablet (XSLATE L10), a tablet with a rigid-handle and built-in barcode reader option (XPAD L10), or a 2-in-1 laptop/tablet with a full-featured keyboard (XBOOK L10).

Features of Zebra L10 Android Tablet
The Zebra L10 Android rugged tablet isn’t short on features.
Display
The 10.1 inch advanced 10-point touch display is suitable for use with finger touch, gloves or stylus pen. Its Corning® Gorilla® Glass is scratch and impact resistant and with a 500 nit screen, it can be read in most light conditions, or you can take up the option of the 1000 nit View Anywhere® display.
Versatility
Longer WiFi range and speed is available with 2x2 Multiple-User Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) technology. It allows access points to communicate with multiple devices simultaneously via pinpoint beamforming, which boosts WiFi network capacity, speed and range.
To preserve the battery, processing is shifted from the mobile device to the access point. An impressive 24 hours of power is available with the extended battery option. A removable hot swappable battery can ensure your Zebra L10 is always available for work.
There’s no need for staff to carry walkie talkies in the field. The Push to Talk Express button is pre-loaded and pre-licensed and works over your existing WiFi network.
The five pass through antennas means the device can be mounted in any type of vehicle.
Performance
There’s no shortage of power and performance with a Qualcomm® Snapdragon 660 octa-core 2.2 GHz CPU. The operating system is the Android™ 8.1 Oreo with Zebra’s Restricted Mode for control over GMS and other services.
Rugged
The devices can cope with operating temperatures of -20°C to 60°C and a storage temperature of -30°C to 70°C. The humidity range is 3% to 95% non-condensing. Rated to MIL-STD 810, the devices can survive 6 ft drops onto plywood over concrete and 4 ft drops onto concrete.
The sealing is rated to IP65 with port doors open or closed. For hazardous environments, the device is rated C1D2 (Class 1 Division 2).
Security
Zebra’s LifeGuard™ for Android™ also provides security updates to ensure your Zebra Android™ device stays secure. Use the Enterprise Home Screen if the organisation wants to prevent personal use of the device during work hours. Lost devices can be located using Device Tracker.
Your Zebra OneCare Support contract comes with LifeGuard™ Analytics which means you can view available Android™ updates and automatically update your device. Zebra is committed to supporting the next two versions of Android™ so you can be confident that your device won’t be obsolete any time soon.
Cameras
With a 5 MP front colour camera, workers can use it for video calls. The 13 MP rear camera is perfect for detailed photos and videos for proof of condition, delivery or service.
Customise the Zebra L10
For government and military organisations that need extra security, there’s an optional factory-installed Smart Card/CAC Reader. Add True Serial Capability to your L10 with a DB9 adapter.
Combine the mobility and productivity of a handheld RFID Reader device with the convenience of a powerful computer. The UHF RFID Reader has APIs available for custom software development.
An impressive 24 hours of power is available with the extended-life battery. A removable hot swappable battery can ensure your Zebra L10 is always available for work.
Write and annotate on your Zebra L10 with a long or short tethered digitiser pen.
Choose from a range of RAM and storage options.
Accessories
The list of enterprise-class available accessories is impressive and ensures your device is ready to do all kinds of work in any environment.
If data entry or report writing is required, the companion spill-resistant keyboard turns your tablet into a 2-in-1 laptop. A rugged IP65 version of the companion keyboard is also available.
There are several vehicle docking solutions available to suit your set-up as well as an office dock.
If your business needs to capture barcodes, the Zebra SE4710 enterprise-class scan engine allows you to scan barcodes quickly and accurately even if they are scratched, dirty or poorly printed (optional on the XPAD L10 only).
Comfort and ease of use are a priority for Zebra. Comfortable hand straps, shoulder straps, soft handles, carry cases, and kickstands are available.
Accessories are suitable for all Zebra L10 tablet models and will remain compatible with future generation L10 rugged tablets. Batteries and chargers can be used on the Zebra XBOOK L10, XPAD L10 or XSLATE.
